Transformers Built for Power Applications
Standard off-the-shelf magnetics rarely fit the electrical or mechanical needs of power system designs. Our team works from your drawings or helps develop a winding solution that matches your voltage, current and isolation requirements.
Laminated core transformers handle line-frequency work from 50 Hz to 400 Hz. We build them for applications like grid tied inverters, motor drives and controls, power conditioning equipment, and isolation for sensitive monitoring gear
Toroidal transformers provide you with a smaller package with lower radiated field compared to laminated types. They work great in battery management systems, power supplies for protection relays, and charging stations for electric vehicle infrastructure.
Ferrite core transformers manage the high frequency switching in modern power converters. We wind them for switch-mode power supplies, DC-DC converters for energy storage, and gate drive circuits for large inverters.
Coils and Reactors for System Protection
Power systems need much more than only transformers. Series reactors limit fault current, harmonic filters clean up distorted waveforms and current sense coils feed measurement circuits.
We wind air core, ferrite core and laminated core reactors to your inductance and current ratings. Our winding methods control stray field and linearity so the component behaves predictably under normal operation and fault conditions.
